Oral surgery


Oral surgery is a complex area which includes a series of surgical procedures on teeth and the mouth cavity. It is important to note that all procedures are performed under local anesthesia and are completely pain-free. The most common oral surgery is the tooth extraction and removal of residual dental roots, and apicoectomy and alveotomy are more rare.
What you should know after oral surgery procedures:

1. do not rinse the oral cavity that day
2. cold compress from the outside
3. analgesics after the anesthesia
4. avoid smoking that day
5. patients who are taking anticoagulation therapy shall notify their dental practitioners on the matter
